I photographed in the Pennsylvania State Capitol today. It is an amazing space, for anyone who has not seen it take the time to go if you are near Harrisburg. The staff was amazingly helpful!

I photographed in the Riggs Library in Georgetown University today. It is an amazing space with some awesome details like this spiral staircase. All of the main structure is cast iron!

I photographed in the Cannon House Office Building today. It's a huge building right next to the Capitol and the main entrance from the street comes through this small rotunda. The long hallways off the rotunda give you a sense for the size and depth of the building.

Photographed at the National Academy of Sciences today here in Washington D.C. It is an awesome space with a really unique feel. The main foyer has beautiful balconies, I am guessing they were once used to observe lectures on the floor below. I love the lighting in this space!

The portfolio review and curator walkthrough (pictured) couldn’t have gone better! I got some great feedback during my review and the curator walkthrough was unbelievable. During the curator walkthrough you get a six foot table that you normally get half of. I had some small prints of my work (17x22 inch) that I laid on the table and luckily for me no one showed up to share the table. I put up four of the murals on the wall and after twenty minutes or so some of the hotel staff came up and told me I couldn’t hang them on the wall but they were willing to help me find a better solution. They provided two partitions to hang the panoramas on (there are two on the other side as well) which worked out better than hanging them on the wall. I was able to position them at the end of the corridor we were presenting in so when you started walking down the hallway you saw my prints looming at the end. It generated a lot more traffic than if they were just hung on the wall.

I photographed at the Hoover Dam for the last two days. After I made a multiple row HDR panorama I broke out my 8x10 and made a couple of photographs before the light changed. This is truly an amazing structure that was made before we even had plywood to use in the pouring of concrete. Everyone should go at least once. I’ll be coming back again.
